That fad has proved itself as viable and WE NOW FRAME WITH LIGHT GAUGE! Who knew there was a whole labor force out there that loves working with this stuff?!

If your project is specifying light gauge studs, then we will provide you with the same level of quality and service that is expected from our wood frame counter part (the steel frame job still needs our wood wall and roof sheathing!).

As partial as I am to the wood that is involved in rough carpentry, I recognize that steel framing is here to stay. Because of my passion for wood I have been very resistant to learning about light gauge steel and its strengths. To be honest I only saw its weaknesses (loud, hot, sharp; and it’s not wood) and I don’t want to learn something that is a fad.
